How do you top a month filled with love? Our love for one another, as well as, God’s great love for us are important to think about every month. We could talk about the ”luck of the Irish” but luck probably has little to do with how things turn out in our lives. What is more important than luck is keeping your eyes on God so that we can make the good choices we need to so that we may follow the path He has laid for us. Remember to keep your eyes on Him and you won’t need to rely on “good luck”.
Our Valentine’s Day celebrations were lots of fun. The children really enjoyed sending and receiving valentines. They showed off their bags filled with goodies to their parents as soon as they were picked up.
We are all enjoying our unit on pets. Check out our cool aquariums and turtles in the hallway. Pets are a wonderful part of childhood. Remember your pets? I bet you gave and received lots of love from them. Some of us continue to have pets for company and love. They can also help teach a child responsibility as they help care for them.
Be careful as you walk the hallways downstairs. Watch out for the ferocious dinosaurs! We will be talking about our meat eating and plant eating friends next week. We will discuss where are the dinosaurs now? See how many dinosaurs you can name.
We are looking forward to PDO Recognition Sunday, March 7th. We are excited to show everyone what we have been doing this past year. Hope to see you at church.
A reminder that we are off for Spring Break from March 22 - March 26. We hope all our PDO families will be enjoying some quality time together. I know I am looking forward to a week with my children. They grow up so quickly that I try to spend as much times with them as I can. I am sure that you would agree.
God’s blessings to you this month and throughout the Lenten season. Take a moment to think about the sacrifice that Christ made for us and what is means for our personal lives.
